Legal terrorism.. Let's not mince words here!!!

This article is a very crafty one which, in the pretext of acknowledging the misuse of women-protection laws including IPC section 498a, goes on to protect wrong arguments like misuse is very rare and that dowry deaths are very common place. Nothing can be far from reality, since there's only misuse prevailing in section 498a, with only 2% conviction based on National Crime Records Bureau(government) statistics, considering the total number of FIRs registered compared to the final number of convictions in the case of IPC section 498A.

In case of dowry deaths, it's found out that majority of the cases are of "revenge" by the deceased girls family upon innocent Husband's family.

The example of bride's sending back grooms who demand dowry(as referred to in this article) itself has a prime case of misuse, when it was proven in the trial court, in the case of the famous "Nisha Sharma" case that she was having an affair before marriage, and to wriggle out of the marriage which was fixed against her will by her own family, she cooked up a false incidence of Dowry demand by the groom's side and sent back the groom's barat(groom's family & entourage).

In short there's ONLY MISUSE, NO USE in case of all these women -protection laws, so much so that none can drive any benefit of justice in these cases.

This is so since the law is not just, but biased, and since the execution of such draconian laws are not according to the tenets of law and natural justice.

It suffices to quote the Supreme Court verdict in case of "Susheel Sharma vs Union of India", 2006.. That misuse of IPC section 498a is "Legal Terrorism"!!!.

Rohtak sisters incidence: Media verdict out, before investigation starts!

This is the Final Side of the Rohtak Bravehearts story that SIF has been covering since last one week. After meeting the eyewitnesses on the case, SIF met people who have been victim of the same girls in the past. If this is a mere coincidence or it's a case of serial extorters in the name of women centric laws - well the police will find out.

As for now, it seems when the case has taken a complete turn, Media is no longer interested to hear the pain of people on the other side OR show how many people have been abused and cheated by the same girls and their family. Rohtak Bravehearts case has taken a turn because several witnesses have come in support of the boys, Imagine if the boys were alone! Read your article "Damned if you do, damned if you don’t"(Dated 8/12/2014, The Hindu: http://m.thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-dont/article6670326.ece/?secid=12624).

In the Rohtak sister's video only one thing is evident prima facie, that the girls are thrashing the boys, so as per law they are committing a crime(without going into the reason why they are doing it), so are you condoning it by saying that it's the way for girls to 'speak up against harassment'. If people start to speak up for themselves like this, what is the law for?. 

The girls in this case has surely committed a crime of thrashing the boys on video(not going into the background or claims by either side) and you are actually singing paeans in honour of these criminals!. 

Why don't you have the patience to wait for an investigation by the authorised personnel to take place, why this rashness in reporting by passing judgements!(in this case you have judged that there is partiality towards women who are oppressed!, by interlacing this incidence with others, while the investigation in this case is still underway!).

To put all this in perspective very quickly, lets imagine the genders are reversed in this case. Assume that there is a video of boys thrashing girls with belts, etc and claims that the girls had harassed them and that's why they had to do it!. Now what would you have thought?, and would you have judged!?.

#RohtakSisters who framed Army aspirants with a fake case of harassment/molestation. See the other side of the story with eyewitnesses vouching for the falsely framed boys and people from the girl's village saying that the sisters had extorted money from another boy's family in a similar way earlier.

The question is not just how videos are getting made(by the girl's own contacts, as per reports by media, though denied by these girls) whenever these girls are allegedly getting harassed(this question is by Zee news as heard in this particular clip). 

The questions are numerous, including...why are these videos not covering even a bit of the alleged harassment!(especially since the videos are getting made by girl's own contacts), and since these girls claim that they have been harassed umpteen(2000, as the girl says here) times and whenever it happens "they give it back!", if they are so prepared for all this, why is there no scenes of the alleged harassment(at least a few times out of the 2000 times!). 

Most importantly the way media pounces in for a media trial(& judgement) is appalling to say the least!.

Have you ever seen a television advert supposed to represent a “bog-standard household”, which does not feature a mum who is competent and organised (possibly clutching a pencil, looking thoughtful, and then writing something down on a list) and a bumbling halfwit dad who looks game but has the skill-set and sheepish dependency of a puppy which hasn’t learned to control its bladder.

Nope. Me neither.

“TV ad mum” shoulders both the burden of bringing up her children and supporting a man who contributes zero – no housework, no childcare. “Tv ad dad”, meanwhile, can barely be trusted to look after the remote control. He is too busy drinking brightly coloured alco-yuk to help at home; if by some miracle he tries, he will screw things up so comprehensively that, for comic effect, he will be shown trailing a poo-filled nappy around stuck to his shoe.

Having opened the fridge to find it empty, he will then roll his eyes at his wife, who has just returned from the supermarket and is simultaneously juggling three children under three and 14 heavy shopping bags.

It is a total outrage. No wonder us men are fuming at these reductive, stereotypical gender-based images, which bear no relation to the complex reality of the care and responsibility we devote to our family duties. No wonder you’ve seen all those marches, and heard all those mid-morning Radio 4 talk-shows earnestly discussing the fact that we need a more accurate representation of the contribution of modern men to domestic life...

Oh… no you haven’t.

But don’t worry. Thankfully women have done it for us. Thank God. Yes.A recent Saatchi and Saatchi survey has revealed that while women rarely identified with the women portrayed in British advertising, what got them angriest – what got them really steamed up - was the way that adverts portray men.

“The suggestion that dads are clowns, or, worse, sideshows, is the final faux pas that marketers make,” it noted.

Us men. Honestly, eh? We are useless. I mean, there we are, being horribly traduced by the global marketing industry, being bandied around as incompetent, lazy halfwits. And what do we do about it? Naff all. Nothing. Nada. Do we even bother to lift a finger to get insulted or worked up? Nope. Can we be trusted to feel appropriately discriminated against? Of course not. We need women to do it for us. It’s the same old story.

It's not that men do not or have not protested against portrayal of men in a bad light, they definitely have, but those protests usually fall on deaf ears.... but it becomes grave enough to be noticed only when women protests against the same thing(against men being portrayed inappropriately in media)..... this is not a new phenomenon.. it's essentially what the term "Men are disposable" means!.

2) Other protests: In September 2008, Save Family Foundation sent a complaint against a Kitply plywood commercial(The DNA news report also quoted below) to the Advertising Standards Council of India. The ad showed a wife slapping her husband on her wedding day because of a creaking bed. The complaint alleged that the ad promoted violence against men by portraying it as funny. Swarup Sarkar of Save Family Foundation said that violence against women draws strong reactions, but violence against men on public television is ignored. In the same month, Suresh Ram of Chennai-based organization Indiya Kudumba Pathukappu Iyaakam, complained against a Pond's ad which portrayed men as wife-beaters and an ICICI Prudential Insurance commercial which portrayed verbal and economical abuse against men.

Men’s groups want ‘offensive’ ad off air

They have complained to the Advertising Standards Council of India asking it to ban the commercial.

NEW DELHI: The latest Kitply commercial, in which a wife slaps her husband on their wedding night because their bed made from ordinary plywood kept creaking, has not gone down well with men organisations, who feel that the ad and its likes promote domestic violence. They have complained to the Advertising Standards Council of India asking it to ban the commercial.

“It’s a derogatory commercial, which promotes physical, emotional and financial abuse of men. Kitply may consider it a joke, but violence is not funny; be it against a man or a woman. We are sure you would find the same commercial with reversed roles revolting and so, we urge you to revoke the commercial immediately and take strong legal actions against those who promote domestic violence,” said Save Family Foundation (SFF), an organisation for harassed men, in its complaint.

“It is evident corporates are also responsible for 56,000 married men committing suicides, as they encourage wives to hit their husbands and justify it as alright because it is telecast on the TV,” the complaint stated.

Said Swarup Sarkar of SFF, “There a big hue and cry if a wife is hurt by her husband, but a blind eye is turned when there’s a public display of a wife hitting her husband. Any sort of violence between the spouses is considered illegal and termed as domestic violence or gender violence across the world. Depicting violence on national TV is unacceptable.”

Some groups have also written to Kitply asking it to withdraw the commercial or face legal action and have also called to boycott any product whose ads talk or promote domestic violence. Some women organisations have also joined in the campaign.

Talking to DNA from Kolkata, a Kitply official acknowledged receiving complaints to withdraw the commercial. “We do not feel the ad is offensive. But since there are complaints, we will discuss it in the managing committee meeting this week. It will be difficult to withdraw the ad because we have already tied up with the TV channels. But the final decision will be taken in the meeting,” said Sandeep Sawalka, senior operations manager of Kitply.

Men groups have also protested against a Hindustan Lever Limited, Ponds commercial promoting a scar-removing fairness cream and an ICICI Prudential Insurance commercial.

“The Ponds ad terms husbands as wife beaters and the ICICI ad portrays verbal and economical abuse against men,” said Suresh Ram of Chennai-based organisation Indiya Kudumba Pathukappu Iyaakam.

Justice S.N.Dhingra's Speech: Save Indian Family's 10th foundation day

Watch Justice(Retired) S.N.Dhingra's well thought of and powerful speech on the occassion of the 10th foundation day of Save Indian Family movement at Delhi on 9th March, 2014

Hounarable Justice Dhingra started his speech in these lines " Sirf wohi aadmi pareshaan nahi hain jinki shadi nahi chali... aur bhi bahut aadmi pareshaan hain jo shadishuda hain ... isse kahi guna zayda vo log hain jo shadi chala rahe hain aur pareshaan hain."

Which roughly translate to "Don't feel alone and think that only those husbands are suffering whose marriage ends, those husbands are also suffering whose marriage is live.. in fact there much more people leading a much more miserable life, who are in a marriage and trying to keep the marriage alive"

He also spoke about what a Judge can do to stop misuse of law...... What we as citizens need to, and can do .... like if we as citizens were really interested in stopping dowry and the troubles due to it, we should have followed the law as prescribed in the Dowry Prohibition Act of 1961, which clearly says that all gifts exchanged between the groom's side and bride's side should be written down and should have signatures of both sides and should be registered with government.  Instead of enforcing this we and the vested interests are actually letting the system of dowry alive and getting ourselves into trouble.

The trouble(misuse of women-protection laws) we see on the surface is only like an Ice berg, may be less than 5% of troubled marriages precipitate and end up in misuse of laws, the rest 95% of troubled marriages just smoulder below the radar!. And there are a lot troubled marriages in our times, than we normally would imagine, may be more than 50% of marriages are troubled and traumatic in varying degrees and living in such relationships result in multiple negativity in terms of children's development and criminality in spouses themselves and in the children of these dysfunctional/violent families.


Like Justice Dhingra if more and more of our sitting judges show some understanding of this grave problem looming over us as a nation in general and act to sort it out in whichever ways they can manage, boosted by the courage of this conviction that this is a nation wide emergency(and not some silly hubby-wife tussle which deserved a blind eye)... we can hope to see some change from the judiciaries side too. Only if every segment/stake holder of this society pushes for a better tomorrow can we hope to bring about change in good time, else it's going to be very tough for everyone, faster than most of the indifferent/passively good silent people are hoping for!. We do not have to imagine a lot of things or do guesstimates, we just have to look towards the west which had gone this way of mindless 'development', and assess where they are as societies with respect to human welfare.

A must watch for every judge and every citizen across all strata of our society. Justice Dhingra has called a spade a spade in this... don't miss it!.

Pradeep Jain was a victim of legal terrorism(false case of IPC 498a) and was denied access to his child, he broke down and went on a rampage, before he took his own life. Man kills wife, in-laws

JAIPUR: Pradeep Jain, 32, who shot four members of his in-laws family, including his wife, was on a confrontation with his in-laws since 2006.

After his separation from the family, it was a mutual understanding that the baby would be given to Jain. However, the custody of the child was never given to him.

Addressing a gathering of over 2,000 people after he stepped on to the balcony of his sister's house at Devali town, Jain said: "They have been harassing me since 2006. I was fed up with the way the society including police, women's organizations and relatives responded to my worries and problems."

Pointing a gun on his forehead, he threatened that "if anyone dares to come closer, I will shoot myself." In a high drama that lasted for more than two hours, Jain asked the police to bring media persons to take his viewpoint. "Media se baat karwado nahin to maroonga (Bring media persons for interaction or I will die). Following the threat, reporters of various TV channels gave him the microphone.

'Doston, mein patni, pesha aur zameen se pareshan hum, koi meri nahin sunte (Friends, I am fed up with wife, profession and land and nobody bothers)," he said.
Later, thousands were taken aback when they came to know that he shot himself on the forehead.

Another depressed father, Syed Makhdoom, had committed suicide on 5th April 09, leaving 4 suicide notes and the video appearing below, which was recorded on his mobile. Here he clearly mentions how he was tortured by his wife & in-laws and that he was not allowed to even see his only son, whom he loved more than his life.


There is also a heart wrenching message to the entire society towards the end. 


It was Syed's suicide which inspired his friend and film maker Mr.Suhaib Ilyasi to make the film "498a - The wedding gift"






When will this end?, when will the system stop cornering men, forcing them to turn desperadoes 

Sexual Harassment at Work Place Bill - A discussion on MM Tv

Please find below the video clips of Malayala Manorama TV channel program "Counter Point" (In Malayalam). The proposed "Protection of Women against Sexual Harassment Bill"(SHWB) on the face of it will make a lot of women happy, but it will stay that way only till these good women realise that their own Sons and male relatives and their businesses/jobs are ruined and they are brought to the roads.

Since there will not be any legitimate USE of this law(by good natured women, who are victims of genuine harassment), but at the same time there will be WIDESPREAD MISUSE BY UNSCRUPULOUS MONEY-MINDED WOMEN(and their money making business organisations), now that they have a chance to extort in crores from cash rich businesses.

This is not a mere speculation or dooms day theory, until now these unscrupulous, shame-in-the-name-of-women were extorting and taking husbands and his relatives(including senior citizens, minor children and women themselves) for a ransom(this is 20,000 crore plus extortion industry, if you may note!), but now they have a higher league to extort from - Businesses and High net worth employees of these businesses

Sexual Harassment has nothing to do with one's gender, its is a result of "Power" and whoever is in power, irrespective of gender can harass others who are in a subordinate position(in terms of power)... so Sexual Harassment laws has to be gender neutral in this modern age. Its important to note that various western countries and even Pakistan has implemented this law as Gender Neutral, so what is stopping India to do the same, even after Law Commission had suggested protection for Men in its recommendations and drafts(which was unceremoniously deleted/negated by the Ministry of Women and Child development ministry(WCD)).

In short, if we leave SHWB as it is, "Legal Terrorism" will turn towards the Indian Industry and wreak havoc on India's economy directly, and this is not a coincidence... this a well thought our plan to destroy India! through the time-tested "Economic terrorism" route employed by the Neo-Imperialists.

Mid-Day: "Although mediators, who struck the compromise between Shoaib and Ayesha, have said the amount of nufqah is Rs 15,000 in public, sources revealed that the deal was struck only when Shoaib agreed to pay up an, as yet unknown, amount that is believed to be not less than Rs 15 crore."

15 crores... I guessed so too, no body withdraws a 498a so easily, but 15 crores can get u peace like this.

Even if Ayesha only wanted a divorce and thats why she filed IPC 498a, its sheer legal terrorism, when she was never subjected to cruelty which would lead to loss of life or limb(definition of 498a) by her own admission, and hence she had no right to concoct IPC 498a on Shoaib(irrespective of whether marriage happened or not).

When unscrupulous women like this misuse women protection laws, our police behave like pimps and facilitate it without a question, not because they are helpless, but because they too get a good cut(thumb rule is 5-10%, so the police must be partying over their booty of around 1 crore now!).

Both side lawyers too get similar cut... thats why Shoaib and Sania must have got discouraged to keep fighting for what they believed in, when your own lawyer schemes against you, you wont see it coming!. In fact filing 498a is like ordering 

"Idli, Sambhar and Chicken 498a" 

in a hotel near you! (no fear of punishment/risk, high returns. zero investment!!!)

So here's plain economics for you: 4.45 crores(the earlier offer of 1 million dollar) was too less a ransom given the wealth Shoaib has amassed!, a couple of days after that they struck a deal at 15 crores!(around 3 million USD) though..

PS: Issues like this are termed as legal terrorism by even the Supreme Court of India, there are not only affecting men but entire families, which includes women(around 28 percent of the total arrested in IPC 498a is women themselves, that too without any investigation or evidence!), minor children and senior citizens. Average percentage of women arrested in other IPC crimes is around 6%, whereas in 498a it is around 28%… the inference would be either that in India there are 4 times more criminal women inside our families!, or the inference rightly would be that 498a is a weapon widely misused by legal terrorists which includes unscrupulous women-wives).
